Just curious, as a news junkie, if anyone is actually paying for access to the New York Times online, or other papers? Is it worth it, do you think? Just curious what people are thinking on this topic.
Gay man here... Can gay men be an organ donor? We can't donate blood but just wondering about organs. Thanks!

No doubt they're going to make a mountain of money, but all this hype, and no doubt Zuckerberg's private expectations they'll sell billions and billions on opening week, I just hope it deflates. FaceBook has only become weirder, scarier, riskier..and they produce absolutely nothing tangible.
and the article mentioned that Joaquin Phoenix requested that Franco not show the film anymore. What is with the Phoenix family? Are they the biggest bullshitters since the Kardashians? Is it all about money with them? What exactly are they ashamed of? Are they ashamed of River? Quoting from the article... "In reality, Phoenix and Reeves (who also co-starred in "I Love You to Death") were incredibly close and this is abundantly clear when watching the film. Franco's "My Own Private River" adds a brand new take (literally) on the dynamic between the two. "...In a question-and-answer session following the film, Franco revealed that his original cut was 12 hours long. That version is now being kept from the public at the request of Joaquin Phoenix (River's Oscar-nominated brother). For now, the film has been shelved but for a few exclusive showings. Franco has no plans to distribute the film as he does not want to compete with the original or face legal action from New Line Cinema, which distributed 'Idaho'...." Now anyone with a thinking brain knows that River was deeply in love with Keanu...20 years later, it still has to be a secret?
And the stock is tanking. Any correlation?

My ex took me to court. We ended up on the Judge Judy show. She raked him over the coals for several minutes, then turned to me and said "is there anything you want to add?" I said "no maam." And she said "Good. Case dismissed. Goodbye."
Wendy Williams asked Arsenio if he is a queen. He didn't deny it and just smiled, giggled and just said, stop.
Have we discussed her already? Is she a lesbian icon yet? Who''s her girlfriend? My partner (gay male) loves her, says that she''s an excellent teacher.\ \ Just checked out her Twotter feed and saw a twit about being at a club and "watching Samantha Ronson DJ." Suspish.
It'll be for the CW! Premiering this fall! I'm so proud I could burst!

Ravi’s conviction was a compelling signal that harassment and bullying of LGBT people carries penalties. Yet the verdict also left a bitter aftertaste, as if what was being satisfied was not justice, but revenge. Ravi did a terrible thing, but he was not on trial for Tyler Clementi’s death, nor should he have been. He was on trial for the nebulous crime of “bias intimidation,” but anyone who believes the case would have gone to trial if Clementi were still alive is kidding himself. Ravi was convicted because Clementi is dead. In that sense, at least, Ravi took the rap for colluding in a culture of bullying and stigmatization that is pervasive. You need only see Bully, an urgent new documentary, which tracks a handful of middle- and high-school students as they negotiate a gauntlet of physical and verbal abuse, to understand that the story of Clementi and Ravi has deep roots. It may have ended with a webcam, but it did not begin with one. Whether Clementi felt ostracized at school, we do not know. But we know he felt ostracized at home: “Mom has basically completely rejected me,” he wrote to a friend shortly after he revealed his homosexuality. It’s an all-too-familiar narrative, but it’s also a reminder that the experiences that shape us are complicated. The spotlight on teen suicide in the gay community was overdue and necessary, but it has also left us reaching for simplistic answers where there are none. That is not to excuse Ravi, who did a terrible thing, but it does beg questions around what purpose his imprisonment would serve. Does it honor Tyler Clementi’s legacy? Will it prevent other kids from killing themselves? If you think the answer to those questions is no, as I do, we should have the compassion not to wreck another life as some kind of atonement for the one that was lost. Ravi faces up to 10 years when he is sentenced on May 21. A wise judge would set him free.
Anderson...calling Obama out on his position on gay marriage? While the "evolving" excuse is pretty pathetic, a fucking closet case has no right calling someone else to task for their views on gay marriage. I officially loathe that pasty-faced weasel. His cunty co-worker, Erin Burnett, needs to do a "Seriously?" segment on him.

1. This actress – who worked much more several years ago than she does now – has found the perfect way to annoy her controlling husband. He always insisted that she not step foot out of the house unless she was looking her best (full hair, makeup, clothes) because she was a “reflection of his image”. But now that they have quietly separated, she consistently walks out of the house in casual clothes and messy hair and no makeup (even when her destination isn’t the gym). Of course, the paparazzi are there, just waiting to snap her photo. Her publicist called and said, “Do you realize how much you’re pissing him off when you do that?” She replied, “Absolutely!” and giggled. Sounds like it’s just her little way of reclaiming her life. (Blind Gossip) 2.This actress, wife, and mother is pushing hard to maintain her fake marriage. She hasn’t spoken to her own mother in years. However, after some recent unfavorable publicity, she called up some relatives and asked them to provide a positive comment to one of the tabloids in support of her family. They all said “No.” They just weren’t willing to lie for her. Desperate, the actor called her own mother, to whom she hadn’t spoken in years. Grandma initially said “No.” Mom offered up a wad of cash. Grandma said “Not enough. I want something else, too.” Turns out that Grandma wants another grandchild and access to all the grandchildren (up until now, her bad relationship with her daughter precluded her from seeing the grandkids). Mom agreed, mainly because she is desperate to to keep up the charade of a happy family, and having pics of the Grands and the Grandkids together would actually make for some good photo ops. No, we don’t know how the actress’ husband feels about all this. He’s the biggest liar of all, so he can’t exactly take a moral stand here. Frankly, we don’t know whether the actress will even tell him about all this. Yes, she’s sneaky that way. (Blind Gossip)
