Dyke, right? She's got looks, strength, and a ticket to London to run in the Olympics. So what is track & field star Lori "Lolo" Jones missing? A steady boyfriend. She's been looking online – with every online dating service out there, reports HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel – and has had the most luck on Twitter, she says. Although not that much luck. Holding back the 29-year-old in her quest, possibly, is the fact that she recently Tweeted that she is a virgin. "It's something, a gift I want to give my husband," she says on an episode of the pay-cable program to air May 22. "This journey has been hard," she continues. "It's the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. Harder than training for the Olympics. Harder than studying for college has been staying a virgin before marriage." She admits, "I've been tempted. I've had guys tell me … 'Hey, you know, if you have sex, it'll help you run faster.' " Only Jones didn't buy that suggestion, despite how much she wants the gold medal. "If you marry me," she quips on the show, "then yeah."
LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- Airlines are charging for just about everything these days, and as we get close to the start of the summer travel season, get ready for new fees. The latest way airlines are looking to make extra money is by charging extra for aisle or window seats. Most major airlines are starting to tack on a fee of $25 or more each way for the privilege of sitting on the aisle or window. Alternately, some are setting aside the seats for frequent fliers. The change promises to make travel particularly difficult for families who want to sit together. The only choice in some cases may be to pay more for those window or aisle seats. Booking your travel more than two months in advance can help with seat availability. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, the lowest average fares are at: Long Beach, Burbank, Ontario, John Wayne and then LAX.

T-minus one month and counting... Gia is being tortured? Teresa at her ropes end with Jax & Juicy Joe? A gay wedding not involving Albie & Joe Gorgon??? Posche Kim a drunk and druggie? Caroline acting like a cunt! And more Manzo Boyz than you can shake a stick at! I simply cannot wait!
From Deadline: "One critic said “it could be so bad it’s good”. Another compared it to the kind of exploitation pictures Roger Corman regularly turned out." "Efron... spends a lot of time running around in his jockey shorts in the movie (at one point even dancing in the pouring rain in his tighty whities with Kidman)..."

Just in time for summer vacation, families with small children traveling on United Airlines will no longer be able to board early. Families with children who aren't flying first or business class now have to board with their ticketed boarding groups. The airline adopted the policy last month "to simplify the boarding process and to reduce the overall number of boarding groups," says United spokesman Charles Hobart. Most airlines, including JetBlue Airways, Virgin America and Delta Air Lines, let families with small children board before most coach passengers. "We work to make the travel experience as comfortable and easy as possible for our customers and know that families traveling with small children may have their hands full and need extra time to get settled in on their flights," says JetBlue spokeswoman Allison Steinberg. The move comes as airlines increasingly charge fees for passengers to board early and sit in certain seats. United's decision, says Brad Schaeppi, who flew United from Houston to Minneapolis on Sunday, makes traveling with his 6-month-old son, Asa, more uncomfortable. "With an infant who can be unhappy at any moment, it's nice to be able to go in and sit down and know you are on the plane, and you can manage your infant," he says. US Airways says that in the last year it dropped family preboarding for families with children but still lets them on earlier in the general boarding process. American Airlines has for several years made families without premium status board with most everyone else. Gate agents, however, are on the lookout for families who may need help, says spokesman Tim Smith. "The reality is that many flights and markets - think Orlando or other leisure destinations - can have many, many families on flights," Smith says. Continental Airlines allowed families to preboard, but the old United did not. The carriers merged in 2010 and have been aligning policies since. Hobart says the boarding process has run smoothly despite the change. Andrew Thomas, author of Soft Landing: Airline Industry Strategy, Service and Safety, says airlines have to balance the needs of a small group of travelers with premium customers and those who pay to board first. Edward Gee, a Houston resident, says he's seen early-boarding privileges abused by several adults going on with one child. "It doesn't take any longer to seat a family in the main boarding (time) than it does with a preboard," he says.

How are job prospects? I love a library and doing research!!
...and I have more questions than answers. 1. Who was the guy shown during the end credits? 2. Why wasn't Gwyneth in the movie more? The flick really needed some more women. 3. Was it filmed in 3D or converted after the fact? We saw it in 3D and it didn't particularly strike me as impressive in that way; I actually was more impressed with the 3D conversion of Titanic. I thought it was good movie, a fun popcorn flick, but not the second coming that some people seem to believe.
Anyone else a fan of the new BBC series. If so, SPOILER QUESTION INSIDE

It used to be you'd hear about the occasional child with leukemia and then maybe some 60+ year olds. It was very rare to hear about 20-40 year olds who were suffering from it. So rare that you'd read it in the newspapers. Now I know 17 people (closely) that have been diagnosed at very young ages with cancer, including my own brother. My nextdoor neighbor is a nearly retired hospice nurse and she swears it is from cellphones. Do you sense an uptick in cancer case numbers in the fairly young?
Apparently there is a bill before the New York legislature that would ban anonymous speech online on message boards, blogs, etc. If this bill were to pass, would it mean that Datalounge would go belly-up? Or would we all just have to authenticate?
It says that Hammer Films bought the rights to make a film about it.

Before you tell me I'm being too mean, remember that they met through their mutual membership in the John Birch Society, okay? Anyway, his name's Greg, and the lump is still there. Regina's dress is a lacy Eighties throwback, but I've got to admit that I kind of like it on her; she looks far better than I've ever seen her. Everyone else just looks sweaty. It must have been hotter than you-know-what.

The first set photos have arrived for Star Trek 2, thanks to MTV. J.J. Abrams is currently filming the sequel, whose plot details are being kept under wraps. The images show Benedict Cumberbatch battling Spock (Zachary Quinto) on what is being called a "Space Barge set." Despite the strength of Spock's Vulcan death grip, Cumberbatch looks to be overpowering him. We don't know much about Cumberbatch's character, but it is clear that they are not getting along. What is odd is that he is wearing a black version of the Star Fleet uniform under his silver overcoat. Could this mean that Cumberbatch's character was one of the good guys before he became a villain?
The Matt Bomer thread continues with its usual melee of bad English, name-calling, conspiracy theories, and occasional discussions about the career of actor Matt Bomer. On the previous thread, we found out Matt will have to lose 25 pounds for "The Normal Heart"! Will Matt ruin his looks? Is it a good idea for his first big movie role to be a gay man who dies of AIDS? Why can't he play Ned instead? Why is Ryan Murphy being allowed to make this anyway? Were Joel Schumacher and Adam Shankman unavailable? Carry on...
