Both American icons of style, beauty and grace from the same era. Wonder what they thought of each other? Was there any rivalry between them or were they indifferent to one another? Did they ever even meet?
Was blown away by the guy who creates his own instruments and played the Eartharp. The magician/stripper was so bad.
Since coming out and being more active, socially, with gay men, I''ve discovered that a lot of gay guys are really into comic books and superheroes and villains. \ \ Except for the occasional Archie Comic, I was never really into superhero comics. \ \ Were you a comics gay?
What do we think of her?
A few years ago a good friend sent me a few intriguing articles from this site, and it has changed my perspective on the banking crisis, the wars, the attacks on civil liberties and the Internet, and the profound amount of information "noise" (aka flat out lies) that come out of the mouths of the empty talking heads on TV. The basic premise is that a group of very wealthy, very powerful, and very interconnected families- no more than a few thousand people together via marriage, business deals, and/or shared interests- control the mechanisms of banking (fairly obvious), government (somewhat obvious), big business (obvious if you pay attention) and education and media (far less obvious, unless explicitly pointed out). These families/cabals/whatever can subtly (or not so subtly, as in the case of KONY, or the Tea Party, or OWS, etc.) shape the public narrative (Hegelian dialectic) in a way that prevents the majority (be they "left" or "right" or "conservative" or "liberal" or "green") from ever focusing on the larger issues. That way they can keep "the little people" fighting over trivial matters while they steal our money, our land, our civil rights and our future. If you're fighting about gay marriage and abortion, then trillion dollar wars and massive bank bailouts are off the radar. I have finally become convinced, after the latest bullshit on Greece, Osama, the TSA/PATRIOT ACT/NDAA debacles that this guy is right.
My bf and I ate dog sitting indefinitely for a friend who had to go out of state to take care of her grandmother who is in the last stages of a terminal illness. The dog is a miniature Yorkie. She's a good dog, she never barks, has yet to have an "accident" in the house, and I'm not a dog person, but she seems to be a good little dog. I guess it's maybe part of their make up that they have somewhat oily fur. This drives my bf crazy and he's been giving her a bath every day, using his shampoo on the dog. I don't know, but I don't think shampoo designed for human hair can be good for a dog on a daily basis. When I brought that up to my bf I think I may have made things worse. Now he wants to take the dog to the groomer's and have them basically shave the dog. I've told him it was a bad idea, she's not our dog, he won't ask the dogs owner if it's ok, I can't imagine how she's going to react to seeing her cute little dog all shaved when she gets home. I don't how to get him to quit thinking this is a good idea. Help me Dataloungers, PLEASE!
It seems like they just grind up the ice cream with pieces of Oreo wafer, not the full cookie with the Oreo frosting. I know the ice cream is supposed to taste like the Oreo cream, but I want pieces of the actual Oreo frosting too.

Anyone catch CNBC this morning? Sean Conner rang the opening bell at the NY Stock Exchange, and he was shaking hands on his way out when the CNBC guy stopped him. Connery thought he was just a guy shaking his hand, but the CNBC guy had a mic on him and you could hear Connery's voice for a few seconds before his handler raced over in a panic and urgently pulled him away. Anyway, his voice seemed very thin and raspy, like he was missing some vocal cord or something. I know he had throat cancer years ago, is it back? Is that why he officially retired?

Anyone who hasn’t had a gay moment is probably trying to avoid some confrontation with a reality in their life. Do you have some gay moments still to come? Is there any hope for the guys crushing on you? I’m not sure. Perhaps. I keep my options open. My spectrum remains broad. I’ve been in love with a lot of girls lately but that doesn’t necessarily suggest anything definite about the future.
I like that type of skin coloring because it''s so unusual. I''m not referring to sickly people, but just famous white guys who have that natural coloring or skin tone.
